Help a friend or family member

You’ve come to the right place. Finding the best way to help a loved one through their recovery can be overwhelming—but recovery is possible, and we see it every day. Your support can be critical.

Start by learning

The first step is to educate yourself about recovery. The internet has far too much information that is misleading or just plain wrong, here's our Introduction to Addiction & Recovery for Friends and Family Members to help you get started.

Many communities also have local resources and groups that provide education and support for families and friends. You may be able to find organizations near you by searching on the web for “recovery community organization in [your community]” (also known as an RCO).

If your friend or family member might be interested in treatment with Boulder, you can send them to our website to learn more about our services, reach out to us, and enroll.
